Starter Package

Whether you are new to the sport or returning after a long hiatus, those first few steps can be difficult and confusing. Our 12 week Starter Program is designed to help athletes develop healthy training habits, build an initial fitness base and stay injury free. This program can be structured around a short or medium distance race, or completed in conjunction with other fitness goals.

What's included

  • A one-on-one initial consultation and gait analysis

  • A detailed, day by day, training plan designed around each athlete’s goals.

  • A one-on-one conditioning session, usually conducted a few weeks into the session, during which a certified fitness trainer will cover specific exercises designed to help runners overcome any strength issues identified in their early training. 

  • An exit interview to discuss training experience and possible next steps

  • Weekly running calendars reflecting all phases of training both during and between cycles

  • Weekly running calendars reflecting all phases of training both during and between cycles

  • Weekly strength and conditioning program outlining key exercises and muscle groups to focus on

  • An initial gait analysis followed by periodic re-evalutions

  • Bi-Weekly Running Consultations to discuss recent and upcoming training

  • Monthly Conditioning Session with Personal Trainer to introduce and perfect key exercises

  • Monthly Health and Injury Prevention Consultation with injury prevention consultant to discuss aches and pains and all other health concerns that often arise during training

Race Package

Trying to finish a new distance or shooting for a big PR? Our single race package gives athletes all the focused services that Black Lab Runners has to offer with the added flexibility of a month-to-month commitment.

Customized Training Plan (Does not include one-on-one coaching)

Our preference is always to work directly with our athletes, but we know some runners just need the right plan and prefer the handle the execution on their own.

  • Customized daily training plan for up to 20 weeks.

  • Expert analysis of your training history and race goals.

  • Customized pace key that designates optimal paces for long runs, workouts and recovery runs.
